Itaoluwa Community

The #ReadyToSchool initiative, held at Itaoluwo, was a collaborative project between the Lend a Hand Initiative and Heart and Sight Rescue Initiative. This program aimed to equip children in local communities with the necessary resources and health support to prepare them for the new school year.

 

As part of the initiative, the Heart and Sight Rescue Initiative provided essential primary eye care services, including free eye screenings, prescription glasses for children with vision impairments, and treatment for various ocular diseases. Additionally, the program featured general health checks to ensure the overall well-being of the children. By addressing both educational and health needs, this initiative helped foster a strong foundation for the children’s academic and personal development.
