Majidun Community

The #ReadyToSchool initiative at Majidun Community, was a collaborative effort by the Lend a Hand Initiative and Heart and Sight Rescue Initiative. The project aimed to prepare school children in local communities for the new academic year by providing essential school supplies and ensuring their well-being with primary eye care services.

 

As part of this program, Heart and Sight Rescue Initiative played a crucial role in addressing vision-related challenges among the children. The team conducted thorough eye screenings, provided free prescription glasses for those in need, and treated various ocular diseases. By prioritizing the children’s vision health, the initiative not only enhanced their readiness for school but also contributed to their overall quality of life and academic success.
