Malawi Project

The Heart and Sight Rescue Initiative (HSRI) carried out a life-changing outreach in Kapiri, Malawi, providing free vision screenings, prescription glasses, and treatments for conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and ocular inflammation. Several patients were scheduled for free cataract surgeries, while others received referrals for advanced care. The initiative also emphasized the importance of early detection and proper eye care through educational sessions, empowering the Kapiri community to prevent avoidable blindness and improve their overall eye health.
